New on my hook

I saw this pattern for an amigurumi doll on Ravelry a few days ago, and I had to start it straight away.

I am using some Blue Sky Alpacas organic cotton that I found at the salvation army, and am using a 3mm hook.

If there is enough yarn, I will be making 2 of these, but I am considering making one 'big sister' and one 'little sister' because they will be Christmas gifts for the girls who live next door. (Squish's best friend and her little newborn sister).

I will also be making a bunch of clothing for them so they can change their clothes. Probably just some simple coats and dresses, but in a few different colours.

Update will come when I am further along (almost finished the head so far).
